I often hear writers lament the initial stages of writing: the blank, white page; the blinking cursor; the daunting task of creating something from scratch. My experience could not be more different. I began writing a new book about Jesus yesterday. There are very few moments that I love more than bringing up a new word document, untitled, and entirely open to possibility. My favorite Dylan line comes to mind:
"And but for the sky, there are no fences facing."
Should be done in four months.
