ReplyDeleteI was convinced by Jens on the Jesus Community memory unit. It makes sense that these things would have been recited and carried around as singular pieces before they were organized and edited into complete narratives. They weren't an individualistic society. Even memory happened communally and ritually. Ritual memory. Hmm.
