For me the problem with the SM,was the twisting of the promise of a literal kingdom, into a metaphor for attaining a spiritual kingdom in your mind or imagination. As if we could live on nice thoughts or dreams alone.

Thus, it's OK when you're 43. Prof Guelich was 43 when he completed "The Sermon on the Mount, a Foundation for Understanding" :)
